1. in the paragraphe toby and fabian are trying to get sir andrew angry at someone by saying that that peerson hurt his pride.
2. sir toby are trying to get sir andrew to get rid of all of the people they dont like at the house so they are saying things about his pride and how they wounded his heart.

Act 1 scene 2 and so on

I think that viola chose to dress as a boy because in their time you were more powerful if you were a boy and if she were a single girl she would have to start at the bottem of the ladder of importance so it would be like she lost everything. in this case she risks losing everything that she had and the power to marry someone powerful or rich. to me it shows that viola is a person who will take risks to get somewhere. she remides me of people who are actors mainly because shes in a play and she reminds me of an orphan who is trying to get her faimilys belongings back.

i picked sir toby. in this scene he is drinking and introducing sir andrew to maria to get her to help him get his niece Olivia to marry him. so he is saying how important and great he is but maria isn't falling for it.then the two men talk about how great in sir andrew and olivia were marryed. in the plot of the story sir toby and sir andrew are just two nucinces in olivias house while they try and get olivia to notice sir andrew.

in the story shakespear uses lots of jokes and irony especially when olivia is talking to viola in her house and when malvolio is reading the letter and sir toby and andrew and feste are in the bushes talking about the awnsers to his question

1. no this doesn't match my definition because she likes him because she can marry him then get money out of it , she doesn't lose anything and she stays in power in her house hold.
2. i think the lyrics of the song CANT BUY ME LOVE (by the beatles) is like the situation in this scene
